Samsung wants to change that, and a new ETNews report says the South Korean giants are privately trying to sell their own type of foldable screen technology to both iPhone and Pixel manufacturers.
Why should Samsung representatives give competitors their advantage? As we all know, the relationship between Apple and Samsung is complicated. On the one hand, they are rivals who fight in all arenas, from laptops to smartphones. They meet at the courts from time to time. On the other hand, they are partners: Samsung provides displays for the iPhone.

Google isn't thinking about foldable displays for the Pixel just yet, but given that Android software has had to adapt to a whole host of new form factors, this is certainly not far off.
One of those who would be happy to see Apple integrate foldable smartphones is co-founder Steve Wozniak. Last week, he gave a big interview to Bloomberg in which he shared his concerns. “Apple has been a leader in several areas for a long time.
